PARIS, FRANCE (March 22, 2017) – KARL LAGERFELD is pleased to announce it will introduce its first women’s fashion jewellery collection through a licensing agreement with The Swarovski Group. The collection will premiere at the Baselworld tradeshow in Basel, Switzerland, from March 23 to 30, 2017, and will launch in stores in Fall 2017.

The KARL LAGERFELD fashion jewellery collection reflects the brand’s feminine, Parisian-chic aesthetic with a bold, edgy twist. Contemporary styles – including necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings – are finished with gold plating, rose gold plating and rhodium plating, and feature iconic Swarovski crystals, pearls, studs and chains. Most designs have adjustable sizing and are finished with signature engravings and crystal accent charms. Core retail prices range from €50 to €250.

The collection is divided into three groups – Ikonic, Klassic Karl and Essentials – which each reflect the brand’s DNA in a unique way.

Ikonic: Channels a rock-chic aesthetic, with modern styles that encourage individuality including a personalised charm program, ear jackets, asymmetrical necklaces, and feminine pendants.

Klassic Karl: Designs are inspired by Karl’s handwritten signature and his famous feline, Choupette, and are crafted with Swarovski crystals and pearls.

Essentials: Elegant and sophisticated with an edgy twist. Key pieces include crystal-encrusted chains, ear crawlers, and celestial inspired designs that can be worn for any occasion.

The KARL LAGERFELD fashion jewellery reflects the iconic aesthetic of the brand’s ready-to-wear and accessories collections, which include key motifs such as Karl’s handwritten signature and rock-chic studs.

Similar to ready-to-wear and accessories, KARL LAGERFELD fashion jewellery will feature two collections per year. Upon its launch, the collaboration will focus on Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the United States, with additional markets to be added in the future.
