Star-Studded Zurich
Set amongst the splendor of the 13th annual Zurich Film Festival which opened its doors September 29, Swarovski’s first ever collaboration with the “Women of Impact” discussion was one to remember. Brilliant décor, a star-studded panel discussing Women’s empowerment issues and luxurious lunch and cocktail events were amongst the special touches of Swarovski support.
On October 1st, industry’s elite gathered for a ‘Woman of Impact’ discussion with Glenn Close, Annie Starke and Nadja Swarovski, Member of the Swarovski Executive Board moderated by Astrid von Stockar. The NZZ Forum provided a grand setting for the event which covered topics such as the role of women in business and society, and women’s opportunities to create positive impact. Organized by the Müller-Möhl Foundation and Spoundation Motion Picture, Glenn Close also discussed her career and her role in the new film The Wife, in which the protagonist liberates herself from her husband.

In addition to supporting the discussion, Swarovski hosted numerous fetes throughout the festival. As a prelude to the discussion, Swarovski hosted an exclusive luncheon in the luxurious surroundings of the prestigious Baur au Lac hotel for local and international film and business leaders. The Frauenbadi on Zurich’s Stadthausquai provided a picturesque location for a glamorous cocktail reception on October 2 for Swarovski customers and media industry leaders that rounded out the festivities in style.
