For the 2015 show, Swarovski will add sparkling glamour to runway looks from the various collection themes, including Fireworks, Ice Angels, Exotic Butterflies and Portrait of an Angel.
Highlights from the show include the crystal edelweiss flowers on models in the Ice Angels portion, developed to commemorate Swarovski’s 120th anniversary and named after the most precious and rare flower found in the Austrian Alps. The Fireworks section of the show provides a sparkling finale and features a custom look created exclusively for Swarovski, adorned with over 110,000 crystal beads, stones and pendants on a meticulously handcrafted 22-pound corset designed by Parisian couturier Serkan Cura and wings created by wing aficionado Killer. Cura created a total of 21 looks, more than in any past season, using just under 1 million Swarovski crystals to render the dazzling costumes. Model Martha Hunt in her first year as an Angel, wears a bespoke corset dazzling with crystal in myriad shades of golds, reds, emeralds, blues and patinas. This year will be Cura’s third crafting looks for the show, and a continuation of an ongoing partnership with Swarovski.
Not only available on the runway, the luxurious Victoria’s Secret Designer Collection with Swarovski crystals is available globally at select Victoria’s Secret stores and online.
