The clothing in the collection was just as vibrant thanks to tie-dye tees emblazoned with crystal ‘Germanier’ logos and a range of ruffled skirts that glittered with metallic rainbow threading.
Rounding out the range were dazzling earrings and necklaces in crystal mesh fringe.
The best part about this fun and fabulous collection? Every crystal used is upcycled, adhering to Swarovski’s mission to drive positive change and create a more responsible fashion industry.
Creative director Antonin Tron describes his newest Atlein collection as “nocturnal” – a mood evidenced in the black separates and date-night body-hugging silhouettes that marched the venue’s darkly lit runway.
Sculptural, draped pieces were juxtaposed with lightweight outerwear and tailoring that was sharp and structured. It was here where Swarovski shined brightest, embellishing dresses and tops in ultra ruched jersey (a staple fabric for the designer) with trios of crystal. The result was both subtle and chic.
Tron is the 2018 winner of the Andam Fashion Awards in partnership with Swarovski.
Christelle Koché expanded on her sportif-couture-streetwear aesthetic this season with a Swarovski embellished collection of soccer-inspired pieces including a patchwork dress and lace jacket.
Koché notes she designed for “the KOCHÉ girl who is open to the world and, at the same time, loves detailed craftsmanship and ambitious design. In this Fall/Winter ’19 [collection], we find devoré velvets, hand-made buckles or Swarovski crystals…. These delicate details elevate the entire collection.”
