Moonlight’s Naomie Harris shone brightly in an ethereal Gucci look accented by Atelier Swarovski Nile Earrings and Ring. The former Bond Girl was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Paula in the acclaimed film Moonlight. Harris topped off her look with an Atelier Swarovski Marina Clutch in golden shadow.
Fellow BAFTA nominee Caitriona Balfe opted for a romantic Valentino look, modernized with spiky Atelier Swarovski Kalix Earrings and Ring. The Irish actress gained notoriety for her role as Claire Fraser in the series Outlander, for which she received her BAFTA Best Actress in a Drama Series nod.
In addition to this year’s recognized actresses, presenter Ella Purnell and actress Jessica Brown-Findlay sported Atelier Swarovski Kalix pieces on the red carpet. London’s own Purnell walked the red carpet in a powder blue Miu Miu gown while Downton Abbey’s Brown-Findlay was a show-stopper in electric orange.
In addition to dressing red carpet royalty, Swarovski crystals have played a supporting role in some of cinema’s most memorable moments and have illuminated its most iconic stars. From Audrey Hepburn in ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ to Lily James in ‘Cinderella’, Swarovski continues to work hand in hand with costume and production designers to add sparkling glamour to costumes, props and sets on both stage and screen. In just the past decade, Swarovski has put more than 10 million crystals on the silver screen, collaborating with Academy Award winning costume designers to make move magic.
