GLAMAZONS ASSEMBLE
Alexandre Vauthier once again delivered his trademark high-octane glamour at Paris Haute Couture Week with his crystal-packed Autumn/Winter 2018 show. His latest collection shimmered with more than 250,000 crystals, and marks the 13th season of collaboration between Swarovski and Vauthier.
The designer’s love affair with Swarovski’s sparkling stones and savoir-faire shows no sign of waning. Three slinky dresses in bold hues of yellow, blue and orange caught the light with all-over crystal embellishment. A black ruffled gown and black tutu mini-dress gained extra glamour from expert crystal embroidery by Maison Lesage.
Several other looks in his beautifully crafted collection shone with luxurious crystal accents, including large crystal buttons and belt buckles, crystal-encrusted eyewear and crystal-studded stiletto boots. As ever, Vauthier delights in the detail as well as his dramatic silhouettes.
Since his first collaboration with Swarovski for Autumn/Winter 2012, Vauthier has incorporated more than two million crystals into his lavish couture collections across more than 100 looks. His dedication to craftsmanship and creativity make him the perfect partner in shine.
