Lights on broadway: hedwig & the angry iNch

Two-time Oscar-nominated costume designer Arianne Phillips brought Hedwig Robinson’s iconic character to life using over 500,000 Swarovski crystals. Featuring Swarovski crystal fabric in Hedwig’s opening costume and crystal beaded-fringe denim and other Swarovski elements in her “Wig in a Box” outfit, the 70s glam spectacle won Neil Patrick Harris the coveted 2014 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical.
