‘Bird’s Nest Headdress’ is composed of duck wings and a hand-woven sterling silver nest, with the highlight of the piece the opulent eggs. Embellished with pavé-set Swarovski Genuine Smoky Quartz and Swarovski Genuine Topaz Turquoise Blue, the rich color of the eggs dazzles among the sedate natural shades of the headpiece.
The silver ‘Star and Moon Headpieces‘ were crafted by British jewelry Shaun Leane. Moon was carpeted with Swarovski crystal cabochon moonstones for the a soft, luminous gleam while Star was pave-set with Swarovski’s perfectly cut and calibrated Genuine Blue Topaz gemstones, adding mystery and enchantment through light and luster.

Swarovski is honored to support this landmark exhibition which Nadja Swarovski described as ‘an eloquent tribute to the scale of his talent and to his limitless imagination, which conjured looks that were sometimes wild and challenging, but always exquisitely crafted, and always beautiful.” Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty succeeds in bringing all the drama and spectacle of his own celebrated runway shows back to London where it will continue dazzle viewers at London’s V&A until August.
