Our roots in Wattens go all the way back to 1895, when Daniel Swarovski moved to the village with his newly invented machine for cutting and polishing crystal jewelry stones. Swarovski crystals soon caught the eye and sparked the imagination of customers all around the world – including the leading couturiers of Paris.
As the business flourished and grew, so did Swarovski’s presence in Wattens. Today, Swarovski is an integral part of the local community, as well as one of the biggest employers in Austria. Swarovski employs almost 5,000 people in Tyrol, specializing in areas that range from marketing to manufacturing, finance to product management.
And while Wattens is at the heart of our past, it is also the heart of our future. We are making significant investments in the site to ensure it continues to be a best-in-class technology and competence center for our global operations. Join us today and help realize our ambitious plans for tomorrow.
