Our Austrian roots go all the way back to 1895, when Daniel Swarovski moved to the village of Wattens in Austria, with his newly invented machine for cutting and polishing crystal jewelry stones. Swarovski crystals soon caught the eye and sparked the imagination of customers all around the world – including the leading fashion designers of Paris.
Founded in 1982, the headquarters are located in Carrer Llacuna, 10, in one of the most important business and “hip” districts of Barcelona only a few steps away from the sea. Over 350 employees work in retail, with a network spreading from shops located in the city center and shopping malls to concessions in the most prestigious Spanish department store, El Corte Inglés. The Ibérica is also distributing their designs through independent retail sale points such as partner boutiques and multibrand jewelry formats throughout the Spanish and Portuguese markets. Manufacturers and wholesalers from Swarovski Professional work with loose crystals and components in almost all the segments of the fashion industry such as Desigual and Carolina Herrera.
The Swarovski Iberica offices operates across all Spanish and Portuguese markets, Andorra and Gibraltar, as well as some parts of Swarovski Professional regional operations.
