To strengthen our Supply Chain Development department in Triesen, we are looking for a

SUPPLY CHAIN DEVELOPMENT MANAGER 


In this key position, you have a direct contribution to the delivery of SCM performance targets by continuously scanning industry trends and benchmarks in end-to-end supply chain management. You are also leading business led, digital technology enabled improvement projects and programs from strategy to execution.

The job holder will take full responsibility for the delivery of agreed service, cost, cash and quality improvements within time and budget to the satisfaction of business user stakeholders.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

In the role you will report directly to the VP Supply Chain Development and your main duties will be the following:

  • Continuously scan industry trends and benchmarks in end-to-end supply chain management through proactive research and maintaining a purposeful network with industry groups, Tier 1 & 2 suppliers (internal and external), organizations with similar challenges, governmental bodies and 3rd party advisors. 
  • Determine how to effectively and efficiently apply trends to our Swarovski context through deep understanding of the current capabilities, identifying the improvement opportunity in terms of service/cost/cash/quality and scoping/shaping appropriate projects to deliver the improvements considering the immediate, medium and long-term horizons
  • Ensure the scoping/shaping of projects is well balanced between market/consumer requirements and service/cost/cash/quality measures as well as fitting into the overall project portfolio
  • Foster high levels of cross divisional and cross departmental collaboration, bringing a fact-based approach that is sensitive to the organizational culture

WHAT WE EXPECT

To fulfil these tasks, we expect a person with a Master’s Degree ideally in business studies or supply chain management and 8-10 years of working experience in supply chain management and digital technology. You have a deep understanding and subject matter expertise in at three of the supply chain areas mentioned below:

Customer service and order management, Logistics services, Integrated business planning, Supply planning, Manufacturing, Sourcing and procurement, Quality management, global trade management, Business application of technology (focusing on digital & ERP) and Supply chain finance.

You bring an outstanding negotiation, analytical, communication and project management skills. The perfect candidate needs to be a team player and a solution/results-oriented person. Additionally, you bring flexibility, strong problem-solving skills, accuracy. Full fluency in English and customer orientation are a must have too.
