Atelier Swarovski Fine Jewelry made its shining debut at the Academy Awards in 2017 as part of the Red Carpet Green Dress initiative, marking Atelier Swarovski’s dedication to using responsibly sourced materials to craft beautiful products with care. Acclaimed actresses Emma Roberts and Priyanka Bose showcased the first collection, which combined crystal and Swarovski Created Diamonds for pure glamour with a conscience.
In 2018, Atelier Swarovski welcomed Brand Ambassador Penélope Cruz to design her first fine jewelry collection inspired by classic Hollywood and featuring pieces that she herself would want to wear. Since the launch, she has illuminated the red carpet at the Met Gala, Cannes Film Festival, the Goya Awards and more with her stunning fine jewelry designs.
For the 2019 Academy Awards, Atelier Swarovski created something special for Constance Wu. Seven craftsmen took over 150 hours to create a bespoke fine jewelry set for her red carpet appearance. The elegant bracelet, ring and drop earrings were handcrafted with Swarovski Created Diamonds and responsibly sourced topaz set in recycled gold to celebrate the sustainability and innovation at the heart of the brand.
Atelier Swarovski continued its journey towards conscious luxury with a starry sustainability collaboration with Stella McCartney at the 2019 Fashion Awards in London. On fashion’s most famous red carpet, Atelier Swarovski accessorized Stella McCartney looks worn by supermodels Amber Valletta, Joan Smalls and Karen Elson. The result was a sensation of conscious luxury.
In its 125th anniversary year, Swarovski remains committed to finding long-term solutions to creating a more sustainable jewelry industry. Meanwhile, Atelier Swarovski also remains committed to finding ever more creative ways of crafting glamour in a responsible way. At the 2020 BAFTAs, the brand created a bespoke set of fine jewelry for Olivia Colman heroing pink Swarovski Created Diamonds from the company’s newly launched collection of colored lab-created diamonds. The future is bright – and green.
